Welcome to HelpingHandsforHaiti.com. Our latest project was the opening a new school. Any progress we’ve made in Haiti is thanks to the Power of Prayer, and those of you who have donated funds or traveled to Haiti on a mission trip. We are deeply indebted to your generosity of time, talents, faith and finances, and hope that we can rely on you in the future as we work hand in hand with our Haitian brothers and sisters. ‘Thank You’ from the Children at the New Mauger School
Dave Hansen first set foot in Haiti in 1989 on a church mission trip. What he discovered was a beautiful island, filled with people in poverty and despair. That’s when the Lord gave him a job: Relieve the suffering.
So Dave and his wife Jerilyn went to work building the non-profit organization that is today, Helping Hands for Haiti. By working side-by-side with the Haitians, its mission is realized: Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, loving His children, and tangibly building strong communities.
